We work directly with Festival Turf for our artificial turf. The most popular options are K-9Elite, Luxe 80, and Desert 93. K-9 Elite is our top choice for pet friendly artificial turf. Luxe80 is our most popular option overall as it is kid/pet friendly artificial turf and has a nice look with a longer pile length. Desert 93 has a lush long artificial turf length and has the density that meets strict HOA requirements.
Construction Process
Artificial turf is installed with 5-6″ of road base underneath it to create a firm foundation that will allow for water to drain. Having a sprinkler system installed with the turf, or keeping an existing system, makes it easy to rinse as needed.
Is there Pet Friendly Artificial Turf?
While all of our artificial turf options are fine for pets, the K-9 Elite is designed to be the most pet friendly artificial turf option. Its short pile length and lower density make it easy to clean which helps eliminate odors that pet waste creates.
