This style of driveway isn’t one you see very often. What we did was place concrete only where the tires of the car will travel, which helps reduce overall concrete costs. One challenge with this approach is keeping the grass healthy between the strips. Another option to consider is surrounding the concrete with gravel, which is a great way to make practical use of the space while maintaining a clean, finished look.
