Hazel already had a patio but it wasn’t all in very good shape. They opted to keep some of what they had, and update the portions that were falling apart. They already had a plain concrete section of their patio and they didn’t want more of the same common grey. The idea of colored concrete really appealed to their taste and they chose a color that compliments their style. The mix of materials works along with the different levels in this tiered hardscape to create separation between the spaces. When you bring color and or stamps into the equation, the amount of possibilities with just concrete are expansive.
